Quindi cosa decidiamo?
While doing a general review of the tests performed, I noted that unfortunately, the emojis we planned to use aren’t displaying correctly on the Livemap.
So we need to decide how to proceed.
At this point, I would suggest including only the street name in the parking spot name, with any quick information in parentheses after the name.
E.g.
Via Mario Rossi (€)
Piazza Bianchi (90’)
Largo Verdi (in this case, if it’s free, only the street name is used)
The same applies to parking lots that have a name:
Vittoria (€)
Machiavelli
Then, more detailed information can be added in the description.
What do you think?
In my opinion, since there is no way to provide a legend, I don’t know how well users would understand these various symbols.
My opinion is as follows:
- Include the street name in the parking lot name
(when the client shows you “nearby parking,” I find it much more intuitive to see the street name, even if it isn’t the official name of the parking lot)
An example can be found here; for the arriving user, seeing the same “Piazza …” name shown on the signage would be better. - Simply put any info in the description
Honestly, I don’t think it’s very hard to understand that € for a parking spot means it’s paid and that 90’ are the minutes for the parking disc, but goodness…
Obviously, no one is saying you can’t add more details to the description.
