Hello from Denmark

Hello,

I was looking for a place to introduce myself, and I guess here is as good as any.

I have been using Waze for a while now, and am starting to get into editing. I’m originally from near Melbourne, Australia, but live in Denmark now. I often travel to other countries for my job, and when driving, Waze is always with me.

I’m interested in contributing edit and new places around where I live, as well as helping the community with update requests etc.

I also note that the Denmark wazeopedia is empty (!) although there is some information in the old wiki. While my Danish is rather poor, I’m happy to contribute to an English Denmark Wazeopedia…

Is there somewhere I can see the hierarchy for Denmark with CMs, AMs, RMs etc?

Anyway, working on my edits to get to the next level. It’s not easy when most of the map is in good condition. I guess house numbers are the easiest edits I can do to level up?

I look forward to working with you!

Cheers,
Dwev

Hi Dwev,
And welcome.

There’s a Danish part of the Forum. Try looking for : Community, Local forums by country, Scandinavian Countries, Danmark

I saw that, but it indicated it was in Danish language only. (Denmark [dansk]).

I will cross-post there anyway, and see if I get in trouble!

Thanks!

I sincerely hope the State of Danmark is not so rotten it will get you into trouble [emoji6]

Nay Marcellus, everything is going well now.

Hi Dwev,

Welcome to Denmark! Your contributions will be most appreciated. It will be no problem posting in english in the Danish forum. As you probably already have discovered most danes understand english.

If you are looking for edits to perform, most streets are lacking speed limits. A script like speedhelper is very useful to show where speedlimits are defined.

Regarding the hierarchy in DK the CM position is under transition. When the process is complete I assume the new CM will be announced in the danish forum.
