We’ve just released a new version of WME, v2.287.
Below you can find a summary of the release.
New features/enhancements:

In the Scheduler we replaced the “Repeats yearly” checkbox with a more flexible “Recurrence” dropdown which improves clarity and supports both fixed and relative annual recurrence patterns. The dropdown for Excluded dates includes new options:
- Doesn’t repeat (default)
- Annually on [Month] [Date]
- Annually on the [1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/last] [Day] of [Month]

Community suggestion: When adding an External Provider to a Venue, autocomplete results are now sorted by distance from the bounding box, making selection faster and more intuitive.

In the Unified Actions Area, the menu no longer disappears when clicking “Enable Layer,” ensuring smoother interaction. Reported here.

Improved both the interface and functionality of the Suggest an Edit and On Segment Suggestion cards:
- Aligned the proposal card layout in both Suggest an Edit & On Segment Suggestion for a consistent front-end presentation.
- Replaced “By” with “Source” on the Suggest an Edit card.
- Added a tooltip to the banner badge for open suggestions in Suggest an Edit & On Segment Suggestion, showing how many days have passed since the suggestion was opened.
- On the Suggest an Edit card, when a segment is missing a street name, it now displays as “a segment with no street name” instead of showing the segment ID, improving clarity for users.
- Removed the colon from the change description in Suggest an Edit & On Segment Suggestion proposals.

On the Local Schedule view page, the style and order of the “Edit Schedule” and “Done” buttons have been updated to enhance visual hierarchy and overall consistency.

Enhanced performance when approving a large number of suggestions using Magic Select, reducing wait times.

In the turn popup, the entire clickable row now shows a hand cursor on hover, providing a clearer indication of interactivity.

We now always highlight house numbers when a segment is selected.

SDK improvements: please refer to the change log to check the SDK additions.
Bug fixes:
We released 5 bug fixes:
- Resolved an issue where an already split segment could not be split again within a single Save action.
- Resolved an issue where adding multiple House Numbers in succession using the keyboard shortcut could unintentionally reselect a previously added HN.
- Improved the stop point adjustment flow for existing House Numbers. Users no longer need to deselect and reselect an HN to move its stop point during editing. This fix does not yet apply to newly created HNs.
- Resolved an issue where the search bar text wasn’t cleared when using the delete key. Now, the input is properly removed as expected.
- Fixed an issue where deleted closures remained visible in the left panel until the segment was reselected.
Known issues:
- The highlighting of invalid House Number errors on save, on the map, was removed. This will be fixed and we will highlight all invalid house numbers on save.
- After accepting or rejecting a Suggested Edit the card does not reflect the updated status.
- When suggesting the change for the city of a named segment, the resulting suggestion may incorrectly display “A segment without a street name” instead of showing the updated address.
