The southbound land of SH1 at Taupri has been closed for resealing and traffic has been diverted for 7-10 days. Can someone close the southbound lanes through to Horotiu as Waze is conflicting with the detours?

The south-bound lanes of the Ngaruawahia section of the Waikato Expressway will be closed for 7-10 days from Monday while contractors carry out road works and apply the final seal. From 7am on Monday March 7 south-bound traffic will be detoured on to the old SH1 route through Ngaruawahia, joining the expressway at the Horotiu interchange. The detour will be signposted and is suitable for all heavy vehicles. North-bound traffic will be unaffected by the closure. The detour is part of three weeks of work on the section that started on March 1, with south-bound traffic down to a single lane at times.

Hi,
The Drive, Epsom, Auckland is closed - Waze knows - but Waze has the closures the wrong way around! The Drive is completely open to southbound traffic (I checked - I drove it this evening) but is partially closed to NORTHBOUND traffic. However, checking in the editor, it has closures from “A” to “B”, where “A” is the north end, and “B” the south end.

The Drive is open entirely for SOUTHBOUND (ONEHUNGA BOUND) traffic, and always has been.

The Drive is closed for NORTHBOUND (CITYBOUND) traffic between RANGIATEA RD and EMPIRE RD. However, what portions are closed for northbound traffic has changed over time, so we may need to update this again.

I think I’ve got this all right, but if not, I apologise!
If someone could do this, I would greatly appreciate it. It will make my drive to work a lot more pleasant! (And is this the easiest way to get this fixed, or should I post a new thread in the future?)

Its level 1 so you should be able to edit
There are a few ways to close roads
- Road closure
- From the app
- turn restrictions
Some require different levels, not sure
I think its needs someone local like yourself to look after it

Looks like I need to be level 2 or above to put closures in via the editor, I’m afraid (I can’t add or edit a closure except in practice mode; although in practice mode, I can see level 2 editors have edited closures.) I’ll keep doing edits until I get to that level – in the meantime, I’ve added restrictions on The Drive instead, which should hopefully steer people away from it, and will flag things in the app if I’m in the area tomorrow morning. I’m happy enough to look after it since it’s on my commute!
