Excellent contribution Jose very good initiative. Congratulations on your work. Installed and tested. (Excelente aporte Jose muy buena iniciativa. Felicitaciones por tu trabajo. Instalada y probando.)
Que buena esta herramienta, ahí nos da un poco de control sobre como manejar el tiempo para evitar la masividad en las ediciones, de otra parte pienso que debería este script contar también el numero de segmentos, para saber cuanto se va guardando por cada minuto.
Friendly international suggestion to respect the efforts of members of the community who want to make contributions that improve the exercise of editing. WAZE is enriched thanks to the efforts of all.
Guys, I’m not saying that we should move this thread elsewhere as I understand it was posted here to be shared with the global community. And for that: thank you!
However if foxitrot had no posted his message, I would have probably been the next one to post. But not to move the topic, just because I have been checking new posts to this script since day 1, hoping that there would be more clear explanations/details in english about how the script works and what it does, maybe a “user manual”, but before the first post was updated there was only once short english sentence that really wasn’t clear, despite the picture, on what this does exactly.
Day after day, every new post was not about the script, but congratulations messages… I’m not saying you can’t congratulate a good script makers, you should, they are all awesome
But if a Swiss scriptor were to make something and post it here to share, I would recommend he posted 100% in english and explain in detail what the script is about and how it works. I’m sure if it was mostly in Swiss-german and that the next posts were only congratulations from other Swiss people but not talking about the script, you’d maybe also think that we could do this in our local forums
All in all when it’s for the Global Waze community, keep the focus on making it accessible to everyone or as many as possible, and try to discuss about existing/new features to the script to make the discussion engaging.
Congratulations will come from others (other countries) if the script information was clear and accessible to everyone. The fact that only spanish speakers were giving congratulations shows that this was not the case and that non-spanish speakers may have felt left out. Though I cannot speak for him, I think that was the reason for foxitrot’s post.
So basically, tell us what this is, start talking/explaining/making suggestions about the script, and we will be glad to join the congratulations and participate
