With the start of winter and the closing of the smugglers notch, we enter into that time of year where many roads in Vermont will be closed for the season. A great strength of Waze is we can enter in these closures and our local editors are the key to having this accurate. If you know of any seasonal closures please let us know, providing a Permalink will help and any news/town source of information will help us properly monitor these closures. Looking forward to maintaining the Vermont Map the best we can.

Gun Club Road, Barre, VT.

Usually a winter closure. Access to the Barre Gun Club is by Muddy Brook Rd when this closure is active.

It’ll take a bit of research to find the exact spots, but this road is closed in the winter. See if Grout Pond is accessible by car in the winter.

There is a sign at node A here, but the closure is further towards the dirt section. I believe all of Kelly Stand is closed and used as a snowmobile trail.

The middle segment of Thompson Rd. in Cambridge is closed seasonally. I made the edit yesterday, hopefully correctly. :wink:
