I have been using Waze for about 3 weeks now and it’s been great. However something odd happened today. This morning I used Waze to get to my destination and the voice gave me great turn by turn navigation including speaking street names. Tonight it appears that not only has the female voice changed, now it no longer speaks the street name. Having the street names spoken is an important feature to me. Was this removed? Thanks for your info!
Check your settings menu under “Navigation”, to ensure that you still have it set to “Full” instead of “Minimal”; “minimal” only gives turn instructions without the street names being spoken via TTS.
If it is set to “Full” but you’re still not hearing the street names, it may be due to a loss of network connection to your wireless provider; this is known to cause Waze to temporarily act as if it is in “minimal” navigation mode.
